Dr. Claire Dosenberry graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in veterinary medicine in 2010. After completing a year-long internship at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, Connecticut, she spent more than 10 years in primary care where she developed a passion for dentistry. Dr. Dosenberry continued her education with a demanding three-year residency in dentistry and oral surgery, with Dr. Ben Colmery, one of the founding fathers of veterinary dentistry. Dr. Dosenberry is dedicated to the well-being of her patients, believing that proper oral care is crucial to an animal's overall health. She recognizes the strong link between oral disease and systemic health, and her main goal is to alleviate pain and prevent additional suffering for every animal she cares for. Whether it's a routine dental cleaning or a complex surgical procedure, Dr. Dosenberry’s focus is always on delivering compassionate, high-quality care with a personalized touch. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children here in Chelsea, MI.
Stephanie has 13 years of experience in the veterinary field. She started as a veterinary assistant and moved into management 6 years ago. She knows that the heart of any great veterinary practice is its team—and that’s what inspired her to become a certified veterinary practice manager. Realizing just how crucial a positive, supportive staff culture is to providing exceptional care for both pets and their owners, she decided to take on the role of keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. She balances her time between her teenage daughter, her husband, and enjoying the great outdoors. Stephanie is also a proud pet parent to 5 dogs and a bearded dragon. With her unique blend of humor, leadership, and love for animal welfare, Stephanie is always here to make your visit to Great Lakes Veterinary Dentistry a positive one.
